Spring Salad Luncheon at Faith Lutheran
Friday, May 10: Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti will hold its Spring Salad Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Cold salads, sandwiches, desserts and beverages served. Judah Lionz to visit Lakeside Christian Center
Friday, May 10: Judah Lionz will be at the Lakeside Christian Center, 3293 Rendova Circle, Cambridge. The event begins with a social hour from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by worship from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. and then ministry at 7:15 p.m. Judah Lionz is a prophetic ministry. Join for a Holy Spirit led evening including fellowship, worship and ministry. Expect anointed worship, physical and emotional healing, and personal prophesy for all that desire a word from the Lord.

Saturday, May 11: Matthew 25 Food Distribution Ministry will be held at Isanti Middle School, 201 Centennial Drive. Food will be distributed beginning at 9:30 a.m. Every person, no matter the age, receives two free grocery bags of food.

The event is a fundraiser for an Isanti team participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The event is a celebration for all women who have a commitment to helping end breast cancer.
Learn the Art of Elegant Handwriting
Saturdays, May 11, 18 & 25: Cambridge Center For the Arts is offering a calligraphy class where you can learn the lost art of lovely handwriting using a simple felt-tipped pen. With instruction, good posture and some practice, you can discover how to re-create the beauty of stylized penmanship. All materials are supplied. Homework will be assigned between sessions. May 11 & May 12: After a four-year absence, Milwaukee Road Steamer #261 will return with over two blocks of vintage passenger coaches. Enjoy one of the largest locomotives ever built and many of railroads’ famous passenger cars as they come northbound through Cambridge after 9:55 a.m. on Saturday, May 11 and return after 2:35 p.m. on Sunday, May 12.

Author to hold Book Signing at Scout & Morgan
Saturday, May 18: A.L. Sanderson, author of “Timber; Fire in the Pines,” will hold a Book Signing at Scout & Morgan Books in Cambridge at 11 a.m. “Timber” is a historical fiction story set in North Central Minnesota’s white pine region in the late 1800s around the time of the Great Hinckley Fire of 1894. The story takes place in and around the fictionalized town of Pine Crescent, “located” near Hinckley.
