ATV training certification offered in Braham

Did you know that it is illegal to operate an ATV without proper certification?

The DNR is cracking down on non-certified riders; don’t get caught without a license. The DNR offers this one-day required certification course for students age 11 to 15 (certification is valid when student turns 12).

This class will be held Saturday, May 4 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Braham Area High School. Pre-registration is required by Thursday, April 25. When you register, you will receive an ATV CD, in which you must review and then complete the test portion. Bring the completed test, your own ATV and size appropriate helmet to class.

Call for specific DNR ATV requirements. Students must bring a parent/guardian to class. Pre-registration is due by Thursday, April 25. Braham area residents will be considered for this class size first until Monday, April 22. Cost is $5 for the class.
