East Bethel Senior Dance
A Senor Dance will be held at the East Bethel Senior/Community Center on Friday, April 5, from 1 to 4 p.m. with music by Jerry Bierschbach. Cost is $5 and includes lunch. The center is located one mile east of Hwy. 65 on 221st Ave., and can be reached at 763-434-7492.
Women’s Luncheon April 8 in Cambridge
The Cambridge-Isanti Women’s Connection (CIWC) will hold its monthly luncheon on Monday, April 8.
It’s excited to have the Prime Time Singers, directed by Arnie Everson, share several songs with the group. This month’s guest speaker is Melissa Johnson from Milaca, who will share her topic “Everything is Temporary.” They will also try to usher in some spring with Rebecca Kuehn, the Butterfly Lady, who will share with them live butterflies. Don’t miss this fun lunch with a touch of spring regardless of the weather.
The group meets at Spirit River Community Center (Spectacular Events) in Isanti from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All women from Cambridge, Isanti, Braham, North Branch, St. Francis, East Bethel and surrounding areas are invited to attend. Bring a neighbor or friend and get both of your names in a drawing for a prize.

UCare to host free informational session on Medicare
UCare will host a free informational meeting about its UCare for Seniors health plan options on Monday, April 8, at 2 p.m. at Gables West Care Center, 135 Fern St. N., Cambridge. Calvary Lutheran Ham Supper, Bake Sale
Calvary Lutheran Church of Rush Point will be having a Ham Supper and Bake Sale on Thursday, April 11, from 4:30 to 7 p.m., with the bake sale beginning at 4 p.m.
Cost is $9 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under. Menu items include baked ham, scalloped potatoes, vegetable, bread, cole slaw, pickles, dessert and beverages. Calvary Lutheran is located 5.5 miles east of Grandy at Co. Rd. 6. Proceeds from the bake sale will go toward medical expenses for Madison Nelson, daughter of Scott and Karen Nelson, who is being treated for cancer.
All invited to Pancake Breakfast
A Pancake Breakfast will be held at the East Bethel Senior/Community Center on Sunday, April 14, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Pancakes, French Toast, sausage, juice and coffee will be served. Cost is $5/adults and $2/under 10. Scrambled eggs can be purchased for $.50 per egg. The center is located one mile east of Hwy. 65 on 221st Ave., and can be reached at 763-434-7492.
Fundraiser for Let’s Go Fishing
Let’s Go Fishing is a volunteer organization that provides free fishing and boating trips on area lakes for seniors 55 and older, adults with disabilities and veterans. All events are held on a wheel chair accessible pontoon boat with a full canopy.
On Saturday, May 4, it will be having its Waffle Breakfast and Silent Auction fundraiser at the Main Street Church in North Branch from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. This is the organization’s main fundraiser and all are welcome.
