Everyone needs a plan for their money. Financial Peace University (FPU) will show a person how to get rid of debt, manage money, spend and save wisely.
This is a biblically based curriculum that teaches individuals and couples how to handle money God’s ways.
Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you’ve dreamed you could be. This plan will show people how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely.
FPU classes will meet for 90 minutes each week for nine weeks.

Week 4: Dumping Debt
Week 5: Buyer Beware
Week 6: The Role of Insurance
Week 7: Retirement and College Savings
Week 8: Real Estate and Mortgages
Week 9: The Great Misunderstanding
“Finances are a big deal in our lives,” said Mark Radeke, pastor of River of Life. “Jesus taught by stories called parables and 11 of the 23 parables Jesus told related to money. Money was an important topic then and now.”
Class membership is $95 per family. Childcare provided. RSVP by calling 763-689-5115 or email firstname.lastname@example.org by April 1. If you attend all nine weeks and feel the course was not worth the cost, River of Life will refund your membership cost.
River of Life Church is located at 915 S. Main St., Cambridge, just past the Dairy Queen and before the BP gas station. The non-denominational church meets at 10:15 a.m. every Sunday.
