‘Ask A Lawyer Day’ March 30 at Spirit River Community

The Tenth Judicial District Equal Justice Committee is once again is sponsoring the second annual “Ask A Lawyer” day.

This event is free and open to the public. It will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on March 30 at the Spirit River Community/Spectacular Events facility, 1001 Co. Rd. 5, Isanti, (1.25 miles east of Hwy. 65 on Co. Rd. 5).

Over one dozen lawyers from the East Central Minnesota area will be present to answer legal questions, ranging from criminal and civil law, wills and probate, to family law, foreclosure and other legal areas.

Last year over 100 community residents attended, bringing over 400 legal questions to the participating attorneys.

In addition to legal questions, a representative from the Taxpayers Advocate Services of the IRS will be present to answer and guide many individuals with tax questions.

The demand requests to repeat the “Ask A Lawyer” Day prompted the Equal Justice Committee to repeat this event and the committee is most  appreciative of all the area lawyers who are giving of their time to make this event possible.
