Isanti County jailers honored for life saving work
Isanti County Jail officers receive life saving awards and one meritorious service award during the March 6 Isanti County Board meeting. The awards were presented due to their actions Jan. 17 when a prisoner tried to commit suicide. Sheriff Russ Monson said the prisoner is alive today due to the quick actions of the jailers.
