Free Community Dinner & Bread Distribution
Thursday, March 7: A Free Community Dinner & Bread Distribution, hosted by Cambridge UPC Church, will be held at 210 10th Ave. SW, Cambridge, (renting the Seventh Day Adventists Church) from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Questions, or for a ride, contact Pastor David L. Willis 651-674-8842. Bread Distributions are held the first Thursday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
St. Elizabeth Lenten Fish Fries
Friday, March 8: Lenten Fish Fries will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 207 Co. Rd. 23 NW, Isanti, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. All You Care to Eat fish, potatoes, vegetables, coleslaw, dessert and coffee/milk will be served. Cost is $9.50 per adult, $5 ages 6-12 and under 5 are free. Sponsored by Knights of Columbus Council #10238. Other dates of the Fish Fries are March 15 and March 22.
St. Peter & Paul Lenten Fish Fries
Friday, March 8: All You Can Eat Lenten Fish Fries will be held at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 1050 Southview Ave., Braham. Dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Other dates of the Fish Fries are March 15 and March 22. Sponsored by Knights of Columbus Council #152.
Christ the King Lenten Fish Fry
Friday, March 8: Christ the King Knights of Columbus will hold a Lenten Fish Fry at the Catholic Parish Hall from 4:30 to 7 p.m. All You Care to Eat of fish, potatoes, vegetables, coleslaw, dessert, coffee/milk/juice. Cost $9 adults, $5 six to 12 years of age, five and under eat free.
Matthew 25 Food Distribution Ministry
Saturday, March 9: Matthew 25 Food Distribution Ministry will be held at Isanti Middle School, 201 Centennial Drive. Food will be distributed beginning at 9:30 a.m. Every person, no matter the age, receives two free grocery bags of food.
Benefit for the Family of Dallas Sundermeyer
Saturday, March 9: A benefit for the family of Dallas Sundermeyer will be held from 5 p.m. to midnight at the Cambridge American Legion. There will be a BBQ Dinner, Silent Auction and Door Prizes. Donations welcome.
Get Down the Hill Anyway You Can Contest
Saturday, March 9: A “Get Down the Hill Anyway You Can Contest” will be held at Cambridge City Park. Create something to get down the hill as fast as you can. Sign-up begins at 1 p.m. with the contest at 2 p.m. All ages welcome. Rules include the item has to be made and it can’t just be skis, sled, snowboard, etc. 1st place prize $150; Most creative $75. Fundraiser for Everblessing.
The Art of Painting Birds Class
Saturdays, March 9, 16 & 23: On Saturday March 9, 16 and 23, at 10 a.m., join instructor Gladys Shelley for a fun and informative class learning how to paint birds in acrylic paint on canvas. The class is specifically tailored to birds as a subject matter and all skill levels are encouraged to attend. The fee is $50 for members and $60 for non members of CCFA. The materials will be provided but students are required to bring one roll of paper towels and a few small empty bottles. Located at Cambridge Center for the Arts, 144 2nd Ave. SE, Cambridge. Sunday, March 10: The East Central MN Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays will meet at 4:30 p.m. at Common Ground, the Cambridge United Methodist Church, 404 North Cypress, Cambridge. Together in Recovery Group
Sunday, March 10: The Christian-based recovery group, Together in Recovery, will meet from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. at Spirit River Community Center, 1320 Co. Rd., 5 NE, Isanti (Spectacular Events). Use the entrance on the north side of the building to maintain confidentiality (look for the sign). Coffee and pastries will be served. All are welcome.

Thursday, March 14: Spirit River Community Church will hold a Prayer Gathering at noon at Rendezvous Coffee in Isanti, 310 Dahlin Ave. Also, at 6 p.m., a Bible Study will be held at Creamery Crossing in Isanti.
