Women’s Tea & Testimony

Thursday, Feb. 21: North Isanti Baptist Church, 2248 313th Ave. NE, Cambridge, will hold a “Women’s Tea & Testimony” at 6:30 p.m. in the church’s Fireside Room. Photography Club

Thursday, Feb. 21: Digital or analog? Discuss ideas, show work and offer support to fellow photographers or photo fans. All skill levels are encouraged to attend. The group will meet from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cambridge Center for the Arts, 144 2nd Ave. SE, Cambridge.

St. Elizabeth Lenten Fish Fries

Friday, Feb. 22: Lenten Fish Fries will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 207 Co. Rd. 23 NW, Isanti, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. All You Care to Eat fish, potatoes, vegetables, coleslaw, dessert and coffee/milk will be served. Cost is $9.50 per adult, $5 ages 6-12 and under 5 are free. Sponsored by Knights of Columbus Council #10238. Other dates of the Fish Fries are March 1, March 8, March 15 and March 22.

St. Peter & Paul Lenten Fish Fries

Friday, Feb. 22: All You Can Eat Lenten Fish Fries will be held at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 1050 Southview Ave., Braham. Dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Other dates of the Fish Fries are March 1, March 8, March 15 and March 22. Sponsored by Knights of Columbus Council #152.

Garage Guys at Spirit River

Saturday, Feb. 23: Garage Guys will meet at Spirit River Community Center, 1320 Co. Rd., 5 NE, Isanti (Spectacular Events), at 8 a.m. The time will start with devotions and coffee and then move on to the project(s) at hand. This is open to males and females.

Artist Connection

Saturday, Feb. 23: Graphite artist Marilyn Cuellar and potter Larry Ostrom will be at the Cambridge Center for the Arts, 144 2nd Ave. SE, Cambridge, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to talk with visitors. View the graphite drawings and unique functional pottery while asking the artists about their work or process. Everyone is welcome.

St. John Lutheran Pork Chop Dinner

Saturday, Feb. 23: The Mission Society of St. John Lutheran will host the 16th annual Pork Chop Dinner and Silent Auction with the dinner and auction starting at 5 p.m. The bidding for the auction will close at 6:45 p.m. This the final fundraiser before MSOST departs for Nuevo Lardeo, Mexico. Everyone is welcome. The dinner will include pork chops, mashed potatoes, vegetable, coleslaw, pickles, buns, coffee, milk and pie. Adults $8, children (6-12) $6 and children 5 and under free. St. John Lutheran is located halfway between Isanti and North Branch on Co. Rd. 5 and then one-and-one half mile south on Co. Rd. 12 (Jordell St.)

Cabin Fever Art Show and Sale

Sunday, Feb. 24: Cabin Fever Art Show is back. Join for this second annual free art show located at Mill Ridge Terrace, 235 Fern St. N., Cambridge, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A variety of local talent will be featured from paintings, drawings, pottery and photography with their pieces on exhibit and available for purchase.

East Central Chorale Scholarship Concert

Sunday, Feb. 24: The East Central Minnesota Chorale presents its 10th Annual Scholarship concert at the Richard Hardy Performing Arts Center, Cambridge-Isanti High School, at 7 p.m. They will perform Mozart’s Missa Brevis in F Major (K.192) in collaboration with the Cambridge-Isanti High School Concert Choir, the Pine City High School Concert Choir and Unum Vox: a Project of ECMC. Together in Recovery Group

Sunday, Feb. 24: The Christian-based recovery group, Together in Recovery, will meet from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. at Spirit River Community Center, 1320 Co. Rd., 5 NE, Isanti (Spectacular Events). Use the entrance on the north side of the building to maintain confidentiality (look for the sign). Coffee and pastries will be served. All are welcome.

Sons of Norway Meeting

Tuesday, Feb. 26: Sons of Norway Rum Elva Lodge will meet at 7 p.m. at SAC’s on Third in Cambridge, 332 3rd Ave. NW. Men and women are invited to come and visit this friendly group and enjoy programs on Nordic culture. Refreshments will be served. Sons of Norway is an organization that promotes and preserves the heritage and culture of Norway, and celebrates our relationship with other Nordic countries. You need not be Norwegian to attend. Isanti Community Blood Drive

Thursday, Feb. 28: Memorial Blood Centers will be holding a Blood Drive at the Isanti Community Center (1 block W of railroad tracks, turn S off Co. Rd. 5, follow signs) from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome or you can call 651-332-7170 for an appointment.
