St. Elizabeth Lenten Fish Fries
Beginning Friday, Feb. 15: Lenten Fish Fries will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 207 Co. Rd. 23 NW, Isanti, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. All You Care to Eat fish, potatoes, vegetables, coleslaw, dessert and coffee/milk will be served. Cost is $9.50 per adult, $5 ages 6-12 and under 5 are free. Sponsored by Knights of Columbus Council #10238. Dates of the Fish Fries are Feb. 15, Feb. 22, March 1, March 8, March 15 and March 22.

Self-Advocacy Dinner & Dance Fundraiser
Friday, Feb. 15: An Isanti County Self-Advocacy Dinner & Dance Fundraiser will be held at Cambridge United Methodist Church, 404 N. Cypress. The Spaghetti Dinner will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. with the dance from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. $5 admission for self-advocates and $3 for staff.
Book Sale to Support Isanti Library Link Site
Feb. 15 & Feb. 16: Friends of the Isanti Area Library will hold a Used Book Sale to raise funds to support the East Central Regional Library Link Site in Isanti. The sale, consisting of books, DVDs and audios, will be held Friday, Feb. 15 from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at SOS Classroom, 110 NW 2nd Ave., Isanti. Saturday, Feb. 16: Pruning Basics will be held at the Green Barn Garden Center in Isanti from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Late winter is a great time to prune many varieties of trees and shrubs. Learn how, when, and why to prune various trees, shrubs, evergreens, and fruits during this free class. There will be a new optional outdoor shrub pruning demonstration at the end of class if time and weather permits. Tuesday, Feb. 19: The Cambridge Surplus Food Distribution will be held at the Isanti County Fairgrounds in Cambridge from 3 to 5 p.m. Do not arrive before 1 p.m. Food will be distributed to one person only per address. You must bring an ID with your current address on it (drivers license or MN ID).
