It is with the heaviest of hearts that our family must announce that our beloved Earls’ earthly journey has been completed. Although blessed with 22 months of extra time; Earl Richard Linder, 84, of Cambridge, left us unexpectedly on Feb. 5, 2013, wanting for more.
Earl was the life of the party with a tender heart who loved fishing with his son, hunting with his buddies, playing cards and breaking out his guitar to sing and jam with his friends and family and no one enjoyed a good laugh more than Earl. With the support of his family, close friends and faith he was able to face his illness the same way he led his life, sometimes with a wink and a smile and more recently with the honesty and courage only someone in his position would understand.
Earl was born 3rd in a family of 8 children to Hilma and Richard Linder on April 12, 1928. He is missed by his devoted wife of 64 years Leola, their son Rick and their daughter Kathy, who each presented them 3 wonderful grandchildren and from there 5 beautiful great grandchildren. Together with his much loved 5 remaining siblings and extended family and friends too numerous to list they carry his memory into the future.
Please join the family on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Cambridge, located at 3652 333rd Ave. NE, to honor his life. A reception will immediately follow so you may all share your best Earl stories. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
