Pat Schonhardt in Concert 

Thursday, Jan. 24: Pat Schonhardt will be covering some old favorites from the likes of John Prine, David Bromberg and Billy Joel with his signature soulful blues with the help of his Fender guitar. This collaborative concert, through Cambridge Center for the Arts, will encourage audience members to write a word or phrase at the beginning of the show for use in creating a unique song for the second set. Isanti Community Blood Drive 

Friday, Jan. 25: An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti (109 2nd Ave. S.) from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. Call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org to make an appointment or for more information. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Walk-ins are welcome.

Together in Recovery Group

Sunday, Jan. 27: The Christian-based recovery group, Together in Recovery, will meet from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. at Spirit River Community Center, 1320 Co. Rd., 5 NE, Isanti (Spectacular Events). Use the entrance on the north side of the building to maintain confidentiality (look for the sign). Coffee and pastries will be served. All are welcome to attend.

Silent Auction Fundraiser for Long Lake

Saturday, Feb. 2: The 5th Annual Silent Auction sponsored by the Long Lake Improvement Association (LLIA) will be held at Captain’s on Long Lake in Isanti. Anyone (businesses & private) can place items in the auction and anyone can bid on the items. If your item sells you will get 75% and 25% will go to the LLIA. Drop off is at 9 a.m., with the auction starting at 10 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. Several local area antique and boutique shops are bringing items. All businesses are encouraged to bring items. Cambridge Firefighters Gun Raffle & Spaghetti Feed

Saturday, Feb. 2: The Cambridge Firefighters Relief Association will hold its 5th Annual Gun Raffle & Spaghetti Feed at the Cambridge Armed Forces Reserve and Community Center (505 Spirit River Dr., Co. Rd. 70). Cash Bar opens at 4 p.m. and the Spaghetti Feed will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. and costs $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Tickets at the door. Tickets for the Gun Raffle are $5 per ticket, with the drawing being held at 9 p.m. Need not be present to win. Reach Out and Read Complimentary Tea

Tuesday, Feb. 5: The community is invited to the Reach Out and Read complimentary tea at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Village (909 S. Dellwood, Cambridge).  A raffle and music and books and cupcakes will be part of the fun. Come and celebrate literacy.

Friends of the Grass Lake Church

Wednesday, Feb. 6: The Friends of the Grass Lake Church will meet at the Kanabec History Center at 4:30 p.m. All interested are invited.

Spaghetti Dinner at Long Lake Lutheran

Friday, Feb. 8: ASpaghetti Dinner will be held at Long Lake Lutheran Church in Isanti (Hwy. 47 and 277th Ave.) from 4 to 7 p.m. Adults: $5; Ages 6-12: $3 and Under 6: Free. Includes spaghetti, garlic bread, dessert and beverage for one low price.

Join for Mill City Museum Tour

Wednesday, Feb. 13: Visit what was once the world’s biggest flour mill on the historic Minneapolis riverfront. Learn about the enriching days of industry in Minneapolis with this Cambridge Center For the Arts tour. Included in the itinerary is the Flour Tower show, Washburn ‘A’ Mill guided tour, self-guided exhibit visit, the film “Minneapolis in 19 Minutes Flat,” lunch courtesy of D’mico and Sons, as well as transportation to and from the museum. Isanti County MN Deer Hunters Banquet

Saturday, Feb. 16: The Isanti County Chapter of the MN Deer Hunters Association will hold its 16th Annual Banquet at the Cambridge American Legion, 200 2nd Ave. SE. Activities begin with a 5 p.m. social hour/raffles, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and program at 7 p.m. Over 30 firearms will be given away. Regular banquet tickets cost $35 and includes 1 dinner ticket, 1 year membership to MDHA and entry into the door prize drawing which includes a gun. Support the Forkhorn Food Drive by bringing a canned or boxed food item and receive one ticket per item for a drawing of a Marlin .22 Rifle. Microwave Cooking Class
