Marjorie Jean Wick was born to John and Agnes Wick on May 31, 1925. She attended Cambridge High School graduating in May of 1943. Marjorie worked at Honeywell in Minneapolis, Isanti State Bank and Town and Country Insurance in Isanti. She and Roy J. Engblom were married in a double wedding with her sister, Susie Wick and Roy F. Engblom, on Nov. 28, 1947. They lived in and around Isanti all their married life. Marjorie is survived by two children: Jean Marie Engblom, John Roy Engblom (Debbie); one grand-daughter, Cydnie Cay Engblom; son-in-law, Ron Cockerham; three step grand-children, Jamison (Sara), Kenneth and Sarita Cockerham. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roy in 1981; daughter Gail Cockerham; three brothers, Ralph, Kenneth and Donald Wick; two sisters, Bernice Swanson and Susie Engblom; two sisters-in-law, Bernice Wick and Amyline Wick; two brothers-in-law, Verner Swanson and Roy F. Engblom.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Elim Baptist Church in Isanti with Rev. Ryan O’Leary officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before the service on Sunday at the church. The soloist is Mary Falk and Marlene Hartzell will serve as pianist. Honorary pallbearers are Kelly and Terry Allen. Pallbearers are Darby Allen, Mark Engblom, Leland Johnson, Bill Krueger, Bob Ovick and Ron Wick. Interment is in Isanti Union Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel.
