Join the Polaris Battalion United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps on Saturday, Jan. 12 for an in-depth look at what the program has to offer youth 11-17 years of age.
They will be hosting an open house where youth can participate in a Push Up Challenge, PT Training or watch as the Battalion performs a Rifle Routine. Parents will have the opportunity to gather information about how this program will benefit their child either if they choose to go on to the military after high school or to understand the leadership skills they will gain as a part of such a rich program.
The open house will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Armed Force Reserve and Community Center in Cambridge, 505 Spirit River Drive. Look for them on Facebook or visit www.polarisbattalionusnscc.weebly.com.
