Pastor Dale Cope, who has served Stanchfield Baptist Church as Lead Pastor for 28 years, has announced his retirement from this full time ministry.

A retirement celebration will be held at the church to honor Pastor Dale and his wife Judi Sunday, Jan. 13. A special program will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary, followed by an open house reception and fellowship time in the lower auditorium from 2:45 to 4 p.m.

Before arriving at Stanchfield, Pastor Dale served as a youth pastor, nursing home chaplain and senior pastor of Trade Lake Baptist Church in Frederic, Wis. Judi is a registered nurse and currently works for the Rush City School District. She plans to retire at the end of the school year.

The public is cordially invited to share in this celebration, express appreciation and wish the Copes well in their retirement.
