The Braham girls, ranked 5th in Class AA, rolled to two commanding victories last week to raise their season record to a perfect 7-0. In the process, senior Becca Dahlman eclipsed the all-time scoring mark for Minnesota high school basketball.

In the Bombers’ 94-26 road win at Ogilvie Dec. 14, Dahlman surpassed the 4,086 points set by Kevin Noreen of Minnesota Transitions in 2010 in the first half. She finished with 27 points in that game, then she smoked visiting Grantsburg, Wis. for 47 points on Dec. 18 to lift her career scoring mark to 4,144 points.

For the season, the Vanderbilt recruit is averaging 35.6 points/game to go with 12.3 rebounds/game. She also has 41 steals already to bring her career swiping record to 760– just 16 away from the career mark set by St. Paul Central’s Angel Robinson in 2007.

In the win at Ogilvie, Kayla Nickles led the scoring with 30 points. Dani Braund doubled up with 11 points and 20 rebounds, as did Jaclyn Hollenkamp with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Dahlman and Braund had 8 steals each, with Nickles making 7 steals.

• Tuesday night, Braham defeated Grantsburg 89-47, rolling to a 56-21 lead at the half. Dahlman’s scoring total came off 20 field goals (including two three-pointers), and she pulled down 21 rebounds. Nickles shot 5-for-7 from the arc to add 19 points. Hollenkamp doubled again with 13 points and 12 rebounds, and she and Jenna Winter both led with 5 assists.
