Hope for Life recovery holding Christmas evening dinner at “The Gathering Place”
Hope for Life is a 12 Step, Coed, Bible based recovery group. They offer help with life controlling issues, any addiction or codependency. They all got together and thought that with the Christmas and New Year season coming upon us, they should have a meal for all those who in recovery or just wanting fellowship during this time of the year.
The meal will be at “The Gathering Place,” 145 2nd Ave. S.E., Cambridge, on Christmas night, Dec. 25, from 7 to 8 p.m.
All are welcome. Hope for Life has three group times; 10 to 11 a.m. on Mondays and 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays at the Gathering Place and Saturdays at First Baptist Church from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Recovery is a journey that we dare not take alone. Recovery from anything that is controlling our lives to the point we can’t get over the wall we have built ourselves is difficult. Wellness can be a goal that, right now, is too far for us to imagine. Help is just around the corner. That’s what Hope for Life does—helping people prevent or overcome life-controlling problems.
