Cynthia Maude Cox Fredricks was born July 31, 1956 in Menomonie, Wis. to Roland and Virginia (Lyon) Cox. Her family moved to Fridley where she was raised. Cynthia graduated from Fridley High School and then from the University of Minnesota. On Nov. 11, 1983 she married Stanton Fredricks and they made their home in Minneapolis. They moved to Isanti in 1988. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, gardening, sewing and music. Cynthia donated to the Conservation Volunteer, a paper of the Department of Natural Resources.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia. She is survived by her husband, Stan of Isanti; daughter, Aimee (Craig) Ugland of Rochester; son Eric Fredricks of Davenport, Iowa; father, Roland H. Cox of Buffalo; brother, Frank (Christine) Cox of California; 2 sisters, Roberta Cox of California, Jane (Doug) Holte of Buffalo; by numerous cousins and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December15, 2012 at the Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel with a visitation 1 hour before the service on Saturday.
