City Center Market Holiday Open House

Kids Club and 456 Fellowship

Wednesday, Nov. 28: Kid’s Klub and 456 Fellowship will meet at 5:30 p.m. at Spirit River Community Church, 1320 Co. Rd. 5 NE, Isanti. Meals will be provided to all families.

Swedish Breakfast Club

Thursday, Nov. 29: Den svenska frukostklubben samlas den sista torsdag i månaden (den 29 november) klockan 8:00 på morgonen på Dusty Eagle i Dalbo. Välkommen till alla som har intresse för det svenska språket och kulturen. Vi ses. (The Swedish Breakfast Club meets the last Thursday of the month, Nov. 29 at 8 a.m. at the Dusty Eagle in Dalbo. Sale to benefit Li’l Farm Children’s Home

Nov. 30-Dec. 1: Sisters Francette and Margaret of the Li’l Farm Children’s Home are pleased to invite all to the holiday sale on Friday, Nov. 30, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 1, from 9 a.m. to noon at Christ the King parish hall, 315 N. Fern St. Cambridge. This amazing sale is always an excellent shopping experience. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will be providing free gift wrapping at the event. They will also provide supplemental funds to the Li’l Farm.

Festival of Lights

Thursday, Nov. 29: The Friends of Cambridge Medical Center (formerly CMC Auxiliary) will again be hosting the annual Festival of Lights from 5 to 6 p.m. in the CMC Cafeteria. Let a light shine this holiday season in honor or memory of someone you love by making a donation to support the Surgery and Outpatient Services Expansion Project. Isanti Santa Day

Saturday, Dec. 1: Isanti Santa Day will be held at the Harvest Christian Center in Isanti (intersection of Hwy. 65 & Co. Rd. 5) from 9 a.m. to noon. The first 250 kids get a free photo taken with Santa. Games and craft tables. Reading Corner by Friends of the Library. Make homemade decorations for the ‘town tree’ to feed the birds with the Long Lake Leaders 4-H Club. The ‘town tree’ will be decorated at 2 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 1: Garage Guys will meet at 8 a.m. at Spirit River Community Church, 1320 Co. Rd. 5 NE, Isanti. Fellowship for everyone.

Community Service of Remembrance

Sunday, Dec. 2: Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home of Cambridge will host  its 14th annual “Service of Remembrance” at 7 p.m. at Cambridge Lutheran Church.  All members of the community who have had a loss of a loved one are invited to join in a candle lighting ceremony.  Guests will hear a message of hope and healing from Pastor Amy Strydom along with musical performers Gwen Anderson, Kenny Krona and Denise Osterman. Sons of Norway Rum Elva Lodge Meeting

Tuesday, Dec. 4: Sons of Norway Rum Elva Lodge will meet at SAC’s on Third (Senior Activity Center) 332 3rd Ave NW, Cambridge, at 7 p.m. Men and women are invited to visit this friendly group; one need not be Norwegian to attend. Holiday Music in Braham

Thursday, Dec. 6: Holiday music will be provided before the community tree lighting in downtown Braham. Performer Julie Cavallin will be singing at 4:30 p.m. at Braham Country Floral to bring in the holiday spirit. The tree lighting will start at 6:30 p.m. in Freedom Park. Many other downtown Braham businesses are joining in the fun by offering goodies and more.

Braham Community Tree Lighting

Thursday, Dec. 6: Community tree lighting and caroling in downtown Braham will be held in Freedom Park in the Gazebo. It’s a small town Country Christmas with a nostalgic feel of community togetherness. Hosted by the Braham Girl Scouts. They will be collecting toys, gifts and non-perishable food items for the food shelf. Come early for free live music and a hot drink at Braham Country Floral.

Jingle Bell Ball 

Friday, Dec. 7: The 2nd annual Jingle Bell Ball will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Armed Forces Reserve and Community Center in Cambridge. DJ music and dancing with Princesses. Holiday Bake & Craft Sale

Dec. 7-8: Isanti County Humane Society will be having a Holiday Bake & Craft Sale on Dec. 7 and Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cambridge City Center (formerly Cambridge Mall). Proceeds benefit the Isanti County Humane Society “Share the Care.”
