Health fair held at Braham Elementary
Braham Area Elementary School held a Family Fitness Fair on Tuesday, Nov. 13, where students and their families learned about healthy eating and the importance of physical activity. The fair included Bounce House, Bean Bag Toss, Hula-Hoop Contest, Body Balance Challenge and Zumba. Festivities also include free sub sandwiches, a tour of the Allina Health Mobile Wellness Center and free adult health screenings given by medical professionals. The health fair was part of the $10,000 School Health Connection grant the school received from Allina Health.
