The Friends of Cambridge Medical Center (formerly the CMC Auxiliary) will hold their annual Festival of Lights celebration on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Cambridge Medical Center cafeteria.
“The Festival of Lights is a celebration of light and life, a blend of old traditions and new ideas, a way to keep memories alive and help support those in need,” said Lori Dimitry, president of the Friends of Cambridge Medical Center. “The celebration includes music, lights, remembrance and refreshments. It’s a great way to start the holiday season.”
Donations to the Festival of Lights can be made in honor or in memory of a loved one. The names of those honored and remembered will be read during the celebration, but donations will be accepted through Dec. 31, 2012. Donations are tax deductible and should be directed to the CMC Foundation (checks should be made out to the CMC Foundation) at 701 South Dellwood, Cambridge, MN 55008.
Proceeds from the Festival of Lights will be used to support a building project to expand the Surgery & Outpatient Services area of the medical center.
