Sister City tour to Sweden and Norway

In anticipation of the Cambridge Lutheran 150th anniversary in 2014, a “Sister City” tour to Sweden and Norway is being organized for July 2013.

In Sweden you will tour Stockholm and Uppsala. Then you will spend time in our Sister City, Rättvik, Sweden, as well as the scenic Lake Siljan area and nearby villages, where many of our community ancestors came from. While in Rättvik, you will have time to sample the local culture, meet some local people face to face, and invite them to Cambridge during the 2014 anniversary year.

Traveling in Norway you will visit Lillehammer, Leardal, the unbelievable Flåm mountain railroad, and the breathtaking beauty of Norway’s mountains and fjords. You will also tour Oslo and Bergen, and travel through some of the most scenic country in all of Europe.

Travel with experienced local Scandinavian tour guides. Tour hosts are former pastor Dennis and Mary Tollefson and Arne and Ellen Everson.
