More and more hunters are taking the easy way out and simply dumping their deer carcasses along local, county or state roads. These dumping practices are unsightly, unhealthy, illegal and dangerous to domestic pets.
We find a deer carcass across the road from our house every year. In the years past, we have found the carcass before our dogs and removed it.
Last year, our companion and best friend “Babe” found it first. She was ran over and killed in the middle of the night due to this careless behavior and we have missed her ever since. So, please think about what you are doing before you discard your carcass.
