Booya event a success
Dear Editor:
On behalf of the Color Guard of Rum River Post #2735 VFW, we would like to thank the community for their support. The booya on Sat. Oct. 13 was a rousing success.
We would especially like to express our gratitude to the local businesses and people who donated time and money for ingredients: Cambridge Cub Foods and Walmart, Herman’s Bakery, North Branch County Market, Isanti Retail Meats, Riverside Market, Coop and Green Barn. A special thank you to “Hip” for his help and support and a special thanks to the Men’s auxiliary for their most welcome gift The money raised will be put toward new uniforms which we badly needed.
