It was a chilly post-snowstorm afternoon Oct. 25 when the Section 7AA Cross Country Finals were run in Princeton. The Jacket boys finished 11th and the girls were 15th. Seniors Patrick Jones and Paige Muehlhauser led the way for their C-I teams.

Patrick Jones on the race: “Going into the race, I didn’t think I would like the conditions. But during the race, I found I really liked it because it was easier to breathe, and I felt good the whole way. There were a lot of slippery spots on the course, but you just had to try to avoid those. It was a pretty flat course compared to most we’ve run this year.”

Wrapping up his CC experience, Jones described, “I liked running for the team the last two years. Coach Lowman made it really fun, and our teammates are really positive and toughed it out.”
