Swedish Kroppkakor at Spring Lake Lutheran
The annual Swedish Kroppkakor (potato and pork) supper will be held Thursday, Oct. 25, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at Spring Lake Lutheran Church, North Branch.
The traditional Scandinavian meal will be served by members dressed for the occasion. While waiting to be seated, all are invited to purchase creative gift items and delicious goodies from the Bake and Craft sale.
Cost of the meal is adults, $10; ages 6-12, $3.50; 5 and under free. Takeouts will be sold for $10 as long as they are available.

Pancake Breakfast to benefit local Young Life
Young Life will host a Pancake Breakfast at the Armed Forces Community Center during the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce’s annual Business Expo Saturday, Oct. 27.
Young Life leaders and youth will serve breakfast from 8 to 11:30 a.m. The cost of the pancake breakfast is a suggested donation of $5 per plate or $20 per family. All proceeds from this event will go directly to Young Life’s Campership Fund to send several kids to Fall Camp this November.
All are welcome to come, meet Young Life leaders and youth, and hear about some of the exciting things happening in East Central MN Young Life this year.
Belgian Waffles breakfast to benefit Confirmation
Dad’s Belgian Waffles will be served on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 8 to 11 a.m. at Braham Evangelical Lutheran Church. Proceeds will benefit the Confirmation program.
All You Care To Eat waffles with flavored syrups, sausages and beverages will be served. Cost is adults, $7/advance, $8/at the door; ages 6-12, $5/advance, $6 at the door. Takeout orders available. For more information call 320-396-2755.
Senior Halloween Dance
A senior Halloween dance will be held Friday, Nov. 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. at East Bethel Senior Community Center. Featuring old time music by Jim Armstrong, cost is $5, with lunch included.

Harvest & Holly Fair
A Harvest & Holly Fair will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Common Ground, a United Methodist Community, at 404 Cypress Street N. in Cambridge. The fair features vendors, fresh lefse, baked goods and candies, crafts, used books, gently used Christmas and Harvest decorations, a children’s room and lunch.

A pancake breakfast will be held Sunday, Nov. 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at East Bethel Senior Community Center. Adults are $5 and children under 10 are $2. The meal includes pancakes, French toast, sausage, juice, coffee, with scrambled eggs an additional 50 cents per egg. Crafters invited to participate in Christmas Bazaar
Area crafters are invited to participate in the Christmas Bazaar and Bake Sale held at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church in Center City, Saturday, Dec. 1. The historic church provides a festive setting for this well attended tradition.
