Memorial Blood Centers – Blood Drive
Thursday, Oct. 25: Memorial Blood Centers – Blood Drive will be held at the Isanti Community Center (1 block W of railroad tracks, turn S off Co. Rd. 5, follow signs) from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome or you can call 651-332-7170 for an appointment. No tricks, just treats, when you give the gift of life.
Calling All Crafters
Friday, Oct. 26: The GracePointe Crossing Annual Craft and Bake Sale will be held at Gables West, 135 Fern St. N., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tables can be reserved for $10 each by calling 763-689-1474. Proceeds benefit the Resident’s Activities Fund.
Cambridge Library Book Sale
Oct. 25-27: Stop by the meeting room at the Cambridge Public Library on Thursday, Oct. 25 from 4-8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and browse the collection of donated and discarded adult and chldren’s materials. Hardcovers are 50 cents each and softcovers will be 25 cents each. On Saturday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. only, they will have the $2 bag sale. Bring your grocery bag and fill it up for $2. Proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase new materials for all East Central Regional Library branches.
Cambridge Farmers’ Market
Saturday, Oct. 27: Cambridge Farmer’s Market will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the City Center Market Parking lot. This will end the season.
Coffee, Cake and Conversation
Sunday, Oct. 28: Senate District 31 Friends of the DFL invite the community to join them for coffee, cake and conversation from 2-4 p.m. at the Isanti Community Center. Local DFL candidates have been invited to attend the event.
Thrivent’s County Board meeting
Tuesday, Oct. 30: Thrivent’s County Board meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Creamery Crossing in Isanti. If you are interested in who Thrivent is and what Thrivent does, please visit their monthly meeting.
88th Annual Lutefisk Supper
Thursday, Nov. 1: The 88th Annual Lutefisk-Swedish Meatball-Potato Sausage Dinner will be held at Cambridge Lutheran Church, 621 Old Main St. in Cambridge from 3-8 p.m. Also, the 12th Annual Bake and Boutique Sale will be held from noon-8:30 p.m. There will be music provided by the Northern Lights Bluegrass Gospel Band from 5-8 p.m. “All you can eat” meal prices are: adults (ages 13 & up) $14, children (ages 6-12) $5, and children 5 & under are free.
Sweet on Guatemala Dessert Social & Program
Friday, Nov. 2: A sweet evening supporting a sweeter cause. All are welcome to attend this event at the Cambridge American Legion. Come meet guests from the organization “Building Guatemala” — a Guatemalan organization that strives to transform and enrich the lives of those in need. Join in support of their work through attending this event. Dessert Social Hour 6-7 p.m.; Meet and Mingle 6-7 p.m. & 8-10 p.m.; Program 7-8 p.m.; Cash Bar 6-10 p.m. There will also be a free will offering, raffle prizes and items for sale from 6-10 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 10: A Craft and Bake Sale will be held at Joy Lutheran Church in Cambridge (1155 Joy Circle) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
