“The Importance of Being Earnest” to be performed

ABC (A Bunch of Characters) Theatre Company will be presenting Oscar Wilde’s classic “The Importance of Being Earnest.”

This fast-paced, witty, romantic comedy is set in 1895 England. It will be performed at the Cambridge Campus of Anoka Ramsey Community College Friday, Oct. 26 and Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 27 and Nov. 3 at noon. Sherry Pearce and Dawn Holmquist direct the following cast of newcomers and seasoned actors.

The part of John Worthing is played by Kyle Branum, Algernon Moncrieff by Jed Martin, Rev. Canon Chasuble by Bill Fauver, Merriman by Vasyl Nelson/Rick Holmquist, Lane by Josiah Martin/Steve Rod, Lady Bracknell by Dawn Holmquist, Gwendolen Fairfax by Whitney Kreyer, Cecily Cardew by Maddie Simon and Miss Prism by Wendy Ericson/Joann Fager.
