Hwy. 65 Coalition Legislative Update Meeting
Thursday, Sept. 27: The public is invited to attend a Hwy. 65 Coalition meeting from 7-9 p.m. at the Isanti Community Center, (off 1st Ave., first left down alley). The Coalition has invited those in office and those running for office to come and share Hwy. 65 updates and information on what is currently happening. They will also discuss future plans for roadways in the communities along Hwy. 65 from Anoka County to north of Mora.
Thursday, Sept. 27: Join for knitting, crochet, spinning, quilting or the craft of your choice. The group meets every Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Rendezvous Coffee Shop in Isanti. Come and learn to knit. All are welcome.
Garage Sale at Braham Ev. Lutheran Church
Sept. 28-29: Braham Ev. Lutheran Church will host a garage sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 28 and from 8 a.m. to noon on Sept. 29. The church is located at 905 West Central Drive, Braham.
Garage Sale at St. Stephen’s
Saturday, Sept. 29: St. Stephen’s will be having a Youth Fundraiser “Garage” Sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 400 SE 8th Street in Braham. Items include clothes, household, toys, books, yard stuff and much misc. Fill a bag for $6. Sale is indoors so it is rain or shine. Proceeds go to the Youth Group for youth convention trip.
Helios Lodge Pancake Breakfast
Sunday, Sept. 30: Helios Lodge Pancake Breakfast will be held from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Cost is $6 for ages 6 and up and under age 6 is free. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee, and juice will be served. Helios Lodge #273 is located at 343 Second Ave. SW, Cambridge.

Spaghetti Dinner at Long Lake Lutheran
Friday, Oct. 5: Long Lake Lutheran Church (Hwy. 47 and 277th Ave., Isanti) will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner from 4-7 p.m. Adults: $5. Ages 6-12: $3. Under 6: free. Includes spaghetti, garlic bread, dessert and beverage for one low price.
Fall Fest at Stark Wines
Saturday, Oct. 6: Celebrate the colorful fall season at the winery. From noon to 6 p.m., Stark Wines will have wine tastings, live entertainment, local artisans and crafts and local produce. Stark Wines is located at 43020 Blackhawk Rd. in Harris.
Public Welcome to Changing Gaits Benefit
Saturday, Oct. 6: A benefit to help raise money for Changing Gaits will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend. Changing Gaits is in need of help to continue to provide to the community. Come and enjoy a Pig Roast, live entertainment, silent auction, activities for kids and more. David Koblish in Concert

Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast
Sunday, Oct. 14: The Christ the King Knights of Columbus Council 12813 in Cambridge will hold a Pancake Breakfast at the Catholic Parish Hall from 8 a.m. to noon. All proceeds will be given to Li‘l Farm. Cost of the all-you-eat breakfast is $6 for adults, $3 for children 6-12, with children 5 and under free. There will also be a silent auction.
Blessing of the Animals
Sunday, Oct. 14: The Isanti County Humane Society is hosting a Blessing of the Animals Ceremony in honor of the Feast of St. Francis at noon at Christ the King Catholic Church in Cambridge, 230 N. Fern St. You are invited to bring your pets. All animals must be under control of the owner and safe to be around. If you are unable to bring your animal, an article representing them (picture, collar, toy, halter, etc.) can be blessed on their behalf. If possible bring an unopened small bag or can of animal food for the local food shelf.
