Free Computer Class
Sept. 20-21: There will be a free computer class held at the Joy Lutheran Church just south of Cambridge. To register call Vicki at 763-689-5912. The class will be held Sept. 20 and Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a beginning computer class, but will benefit people at all skill levels. Topics include: computer terminology, the parts inside the computer, tips for buying one, should you buy a laptop, pros and cons of different stores and plenty of time for questions. The instructor is Dave Larson.
Isanti County Self-Advocacy Meeting
Friday, Sept. 21: An Isanti County Self-Advocacy Meeting will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. with a topic of voting. Bring a potluck item for after the meeting and some change to give to the local food pantry. Meeting will be held at Cambridge United Methodist Church, 404 N. CHS Class of 1962 Reunion
Sept. 21-22: Class members and faculty from Cambridge High School class of 1962 will gather for a 50th year reunion Sept. 21-22. The group will attend the Homecoming game at the high school Friday night and get together for a celebratory breakfast Saturday morning at Cambridge Middle School. DFL Annual Auction
Saturday, Sept. 22: The DFL (Democrat Farm Labor) Senate Districts 31 and 32 are holding their annual fundraiser auction and Smorgasbord at the Cambridge Catholic Church Parish Hall (305 N. Fern St.). Bring donated items at 3 p.m. The Smorgasbord is at 5:30 p.m. with the auction at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome and donations accepted. Call Howie at 763-213-5555 with questions.
Fall Auction at Long Lake Lutheran
Saturday, Sept. 22: A Fall Auction will be held at Long Lake Lutheran Church beginning at 10 a.m. Many fabulous items and lunch and concessions available. The church is located at Hwy. 47 and 277th Ave. in Isanti.
American Red Cross Blood Drive
Tuesday, Sept. 25: An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held from 12:30-5:30 p.m. at Elim Baptist Church, 114 Dahlin Ave., Isanti. Cambridge Senior Dance
Wednesday, Sept. 26: A Cambridge Senior Dance will be held at the American Legion in Cambridge from 1-4 p.m. with Dick Szyplinski playing. Cost is $5.
Hwy. 65 Coalition Legislative Update Meeting
Thursday, Sept. 27: The public is invited to attend a Hwy. 65 Coalition meeting from 7-9 p.m. at the Isanti Community Center, (0ff 1st Ave., first left down alley). The Coalition has invited those in office and those running for office to come and share Hwy. 65 updates and information on what is currently happening. They will also discuss future plans for roadways in the communities along Hwy. 65 from Anoka County to north of Mora.
Garage Sale at Braham Ev. Lutheran Church
Sept. 28-29: Braham Ev. Lutheran Church will host a garage sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 28 and from 8 a.m. to noon on Sept. 29. The church is located at 905 West Central Drive, Braham.
Helios Lodge Pancake Breakfast
Sunday, Sept. 30: Helios Lodge Pancake Breakfast (343 Second Ave. SW, Cambridge) will be held from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Cost is $6 for ages 6 and up and under age 6 is free. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee, and juice will be served.

Saturday, Oct. 6: A benefit to help raise money for Changing Gaits will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
