Cambridge child injured after falling from window

A child was injured after falling from a second story window at a residence in Cambridge Saturday afternoon.

At about 1:40 p.m. Sept. 15, Cambridge Police and Allina Ambulance were called to a residence on the 2400 block of Main Street South for an injured child, according to a Cambridge Police Department press release.

Upon arrival, officers and ambulance personnel found that a female child had fallen from a second story bedroom window and had been injured.

The child was flown to Hennepin County Medical Center. The incident remains under investigation by the Cambridge Police Department.
