Cambridge Christian soccer stayed on its perfect run through the 2012 season by sweeping its four games to claim the championship at the Sept. 7-8 Owatonna Christian Invitational.
The Warriors opened against Owatonna with a 3-1 victory. Syfah Doble led off the scoring in the 13th minute by a beautiful long cross from Peter Maring. Anders Boyum also netted a goal in the 25th minute, and then he scored a final decisive second goal in the 60th minute.
Next up was Immanuel Lutheran, with the Warriors played them on 10 minutes rest. Despite the tired legs, they had strong hearts to prevail 3-0. Boyum scored in the first half, then Josh Roble banged home two second-half goals.
On Saturday, CCS kept rolling with a 6-0 victory over Hope Lutheran. Doble scored twice, with solo goals kicked home by Josh Roble scored, Jordan Roble, Isaiah Hurd and Grant Taylor. Jack Swenson had 2 assists.
In the championship, The Warriors took on Central Christian and won 3-0 on goals by Doble and Boyum (2).

Anders Boyum and Bill Enos were named All-Tourney, and Peter Maring was named tourney MVP.
