MN Disabled American Veterans Fundraiser at Isanti VFW Sept. 15
On Saturday, Sept. 15, the Isanti VFW Post #2735 will be having special activities throughout the day and evening with all proceeds being donated to the MN Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
Some of the activities include a horseshoe tourney, bingo, bake sale, and kiddie games with a cup cake walk at 1:30 p.m. The Military Order of the Cooties will have their Pronto Pup stand starting at 11 a.m. There is also a Pig Roast that starts at approximately 5 p.m.
Tickets are also on sale now for $2 each at the Isanti VFW for a Bucket Raffle that includes a Jared Allen autographed football. The drawing will be at 11 p.m. on Sept. 15 and you do not need to be present to win.
The group DRIVEN will be performing Saturday from 8:30 p.m. to close. They perform a variety of classic country and classic rock.
DRIVEN also has original music that they perform paying tribute to our countries veterans. A $5 donation will be collected at the door for the MN DAV. In return, you will receive one free beer or rail drink.
The MN DAV is part of a national organization made up exclusively of men and women disabled in our nation’s defense.
The mission of the MN DAV is to build better lives for Minnesota’s disabled veterans and their families. All of the services that the MN DAV provides to disabled veterans and their families is paid for solely by the membership dues and charitable contributions received.
