Family Pathways begins Circle of Friends activities
Family Pathways Youth Services is excited to kick off the 11th year of Circle of Friends activities for special needs youth in grades 9-12.
Circle of Friends offers teens with special needs a chance to work on their social skills while enjoying fun activities with a volunteer peer buddy mentor. Groups meet twice a month. An activities/events calendar with all the details of what, where, when and any cost is available online at www.familypathways.org.
While enrollment and many functions are free, students cover their expense for activities with a cost like movies, eating out and bowling. To find out more about how to join a Circle of Friends group in your school district or to inquire about volunteering to be a peer buddy, contact Ellen Watters at 651-462-4398 or email email@example.com for the school districts of Cambridge-Isanti, Chisago Lakes, Princeton, Forest Lake and North Branch.
