Food service information for District 911 schools
Breakfast and lunch will be available at all schools in District 911. The price of a school breakfast is $1.10 for students in all grade levels with no charge to students approved for free or reduced meals. The price of a school lunch is $2.10 for students in kindergarten through grade five, and $2.35 for students in grades six through twelve. Reduced price lunch is $.40 for students in all grade levels. Milk will be available for $.40.
Applications for free or reduced price meals may be obtained from the office at each school site, the district office, or by calling Debbie Knickerbocker at 763-689-6210. Applications are also available at www.cambridge.k12.mn.us/Food Service /Application Information.
Parents must PREPAY into their family account from which the cost of meals and ala carte items is deducted as they are purchased. Students are issued a keypad number to purchase meals using their PREPAID family meal account. Students may draw from this account when they make a purchase. If a family account does not have a positive balance, students will not be allowed to make a purchase. They will however be offered a courtesy meal of a sandwich and carton of milk.
1) For cash or check prepayments, drop boxes are available in the office at each school site and in the Food Service Office in the District Office building. Remember to write the student(s) first and last name on the check or envelope. Prepayments may also be mailed to: Food Service Department, Independent School District #911, 625A Main St. North, Cambridge, MN 55008.
2) Prepayments may be made online at www.cambridge.k12.mn.us/Family Access/Food Service /Make Online Payment, and follow the prompts. You may also call the Food Services office at 763-689-6210 to make a prepayment by phone. A $1 service fee will be added to all online and phone payments.
Family account balance information is available on our district website through Family Access or by calling the Food Service office at 763-689-6210.
You have the opportunity to sign up to receive an email alert when your family lunch account balance is low by checking a box in Family Access. An email will be sent to you when your balance is at or below $10.
