Experience a memorable summer night. Join for a barn dance at Sweetgrass Farm on Saturday, Aug. 11, from 7 to 10 p.m. with The Mad Cow Band.
The Mad Cow Band has been delighting dancers at the Dalbo Dances since 1999.
Band members include Warren Peterson on accordion and fiddle; Denise Morris on fiddle; Paul Morris, Gary Peterson and Dave Meeks on guitar; Steve Odencrantz on drums; and Doug Fredlund on bass.
The band performs a wide range of music—old time waltzes, polkas and reels; bluegrass, country two steps, rock, blues and even mazurkas.
Everyone is welcome—no experience necessary. Suggested donation is $10 for adults, $5 for teens 13 to 17, and free for children under 13.
This is a smoke and alcohol-free event. Benjamin’s Treats for Dancing Feet will offer refreshments for sale.
Check out the farm market on the ground floor of the barn. (Vendors, there is still space available).
