National Night Out events planned for Aug. 7


The Cambridge Police Department and Fire Department would like to invite local neighborhoods in celebrating “National Night Out” on Tuesday, Aug. 7 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The main event will be held at Cambridge City Hall, 300 3rd Avenue NE, in Cambridge. The Cambridge Police Department and Fire Department will be coordinating the event together this year.

If you are interested in meeting your neighbors and uniting for National Night Out, consider organizing a cook-out on Aug. 7. To register your neighborhood event, contact the Cambridge Police Department at 763-689-9567.


The Isanti Police Reserves will host Isanti’s National Night Out Tuesday, Aug. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Isanti Community Center.

Games, prizes, safety materials and the Crime Stopper of the Year Award will be presented.

A potluck dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. and all are welcome. Please bring a lawn chair and a dish to share. Isanti Police Chief Ron Sager will provide his famous Venison Brats and Root Beer Floats.

The event is an opportunity to meet your neighbors, volunteer police reserves, elected officials and law enforcement.
