PFLAG Meeting

Sunday, July 15: The East Central MN Parents, Family and Friends of Lesbians and Gays will meet at 4 p.m. at the ARC Retreat Center, 1680 373rd Ave NE, Stanchfield – west of Grandy.  Guests from the national PFLAG organization will attend the July meeting. Wednesday, July 18: The Isanti County Boosters of 7 County Senior Federation will meet at SAC’s on Third, 332 3rd Avenue NW, in Cambridge. Join for lunch at 11:30 a.m., followed by meeting at 12:30 p.m. All members are welcome.

Parkinson’s Support Group Meeting

Wednesday, July 18: Parkinson’s Support Group will hold their regular monthly meeting 10 to 11:30 a.m. at GracePointe Crossing in the Commons at 1545 River Hills Parkway in Cambridge. People with Parkinson’s can do yoga from their chair with Amy Jensen as the guest for the morning. Individuals with Parkinson’s Disease, their families, friends and caregivers are invited to attend. Isanti County Fair

July 18-22: With a theme of “Discovering Living History,” the Isanti County Fair will be held July 18-22 at the Isanti County Fairgrounds in Cambridge. Motocross, Tractor Pull, Live Bands, Food, Carnival and more. For a full list of events visit www.isanticountyfair.com.

Free Community Dinner

Thursday, July 19: A free Community Dinner will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Use the downstairs entrance. Everyone is welcome to join for a time of fellowship and a meal. Call the church office at 763-444-9201 with questions.

Ruby’s Pantry Food Distribution

Saturday, July 21: Ruby’s Pantry Food Distribution will be held at Elim Baptist Church in Isanti from 8–9:30 a.m. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. $15 donation.

Dusty Eagle Grand Opening

Saturday, July 21: Dusty Eagle owners Donny and Judy Cassman invite the public to celebrate the Dalbo bar and grill’s grand re-opening with giveaway prizes, free beer and more. Durocher family in concert

Sunday, July 22: Join the Durocher family for a fun evening of musical entertainment where one mom, one dad and 9 of their 12 children (ages 7-22) will perform creative and originals and traditional favorites featuring amazing instrumentation and intricate harmonies. The Durochers have been entertaining audiences from Maine to Mexico at over 200 shows per year and they will be here for one show only on their Greater Than Ever Tour. There is no admission and a free will offering will be received. Plan to meet the band after the concert. The event will be held at Quamba Baptist Church, 26358 Crosby Ave, Brook Park. American Red Cross Blood Drive

Monday, July 23: An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held from noon to 5 p.m. at the Cambridge Medical Center, 701 S. Saturday, July 28: The Cambridge-Isanti High School Class of 1992 is planning its 20-year reunion celebration at the Armed Forces Reserve and Community Center in Cambridge beginning at 6 p.m. Invitations will be sent via email.
