The Old Town Gospel Choir from LuleƄ, Sweden, will perform in concert Sunday, June 24, at 7 p.m. at Cambridge Lutheran Church.

The 23-member Old Town Gospel Choir performs a mixture of gospel music (both new music composed by either Lennart Johansson or his son Samuel and American gospel music) and traditional Swedish songs. The young adult choir sings with great spirit and energy and is an inspiration and delight to audiences everywhere they perform.

The choir has performed in the Cambridge area several times in past years. They are directed by Emma Johansson and her father, Lennart Johansson, who have appeared at recent Cambridge Swedish Festival events, always to very appreciative audiences.

This concert is presented by the Cambridge Center for the Arts, in conjunction with the Cambridge Swedish Festival Committee.
