Saturday, July 28: The Cambridge-Isanti High School Class of 1992 is planning its 20-year reunion celebration to be held at the Armed Forces Reserve and Community Center in Cambridge beginning at 6 p.m. Invitations will be sent via email. Students from the Class of 1992 are encouraged to email their name, address and phone number to email@example.com. Cambridge Farmer’s Market
Ongoing: Cambridge Farmer’s Market takes place on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the City Center Market parking lot. Oct. 27 will end the season.
Customer Appreciation Meeting
Thursday, June 21: The Cambridge Customer Appreciation Event planning committee will meet at 2 p.m. at the Minnco Center. Please come if you can. The event will be held Sept. 14.
Free Community Dinner
Thursday, June 21: A free Community Dinner will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Use the downstairs entrance. Everyone is welcome to join for a time of fellowship and a meal. Call the church office at 763-444-9201 with questions.
Happiness Happens at GracePointe Crossing
Thursday, June 21: A “Happiness Happens” event will be held at GracePointe Crossing Gables East (135 Fern St. N, Cambridge) from 2:30-7 p.m. Admission is free and includes a Farmers Market, bingo, games, car show, prizes, singing contest, face painting and food. Isanti County Self-Advocacy Dinner & Dance
Friday, June 22: An Isanti County Self-Advocacy Dinner & Dance Fundraiser will be held at United Methodist Church on Cypress Street in Cambridge. Dinner will be served from 5:30-6:30 p.m. that includes hot dogs, chips and ice cream. The dance will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. $5 admission-self-advocates; $3 for staff and family. The money will be used to help self-advocates with the cost of a national self-advocacy conference that will be in Minnesota in August. Contact Maggie Treichel for more information at 763-370-3946.
Scandinavian Breakfast Fundraiser
Saturday, June 23: The Cambridge Lutheran Team will be having a Scandinavian Breakfast fundraiser for the American Cancer Society-Relay for Life from 8-10 a.m. at the Cambridge Lutheran Fellowship Hall. Friends of Grass Lake Church Meeting
Saturday, June 23: The Friends of the Grass Lake Church will meet at the Grass Lake Church at 9 a.m. Cleaning the building will follow the meeting to prepare for July 7th birthday/celebration of the history of the town of Grass Lake. All interested persons are welcome to attend.
Children of Justin Gustafson Memorial Benefit
Saturday, June 23: A benefit for the children of Justin Gustafson will be held from 4 p.m. to midnight at Captain’s on Long Lake in Isanti. Gustafson died in a car accident on Dec. 24, 2011, and left behind a son, Dominick and newborn daughter Justina, who was born two weeks after his death. The benefit will feature special guest Sheila Raye Charles (daughter of Ray Charles), as well as bands Surgeon Generals, Soup Bones, News Getting Old and Troy Castellano. It will also include a silent auction, raffle and dinner. $20 donation includes the music and food, and raffle tickets are $5 per ticket or 5/$20.
