The count down continues. The dates are July 6 and 7. Each evening it begins at 6:30 p.m. The event? The 36th Annual Isanti Firefighters Rodeo. The rodeo lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes features all seven events of rodeo. Dances have always been a fun part of the event and this year promises to continue that tradition. The Iron Horse Group plays Friday night immediately after the rodeo, and The Stern County 17 Band plays Saturday night. Our new up-dated website, www.isantifiredistrict.org, has a rodeo section. Visit it for information up-dates and to order tickets on-line. Advance tickets are now on sale on-line and will be available through local businesses soon.
Advance adult ticket prices remain at $10, children ages 4-12 are $5, and ages 3 and under are free. Further information can be obtained by calling the new rodeo “hotline” at 763-464-2508. Invite your friends and relatives and make it a family weekend to remember.
In our pursuit to meet and hopefully exceed the entertainment value you place on the rodeo, we as firefighters are also guided by a strong belief in the value of giving back to the community and the people we serve. We’re there when you need us. The Isanti Firefighters are honored to be serving our community and we are very appreciative of your support. See you July 6 and 7. It’s a weekend you don’t want to miss. We’ll help you remember old-time fun, and it’s all right here in Isanti. All proceeds go towards the enhancement of fire and rescue services. Thank you.
