The Grandy Lions Club donated $1,000 to the Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser held at Buzzano’s. This event benefits Family Pathways Youth Services program in Mora, which includes the Teen Center, Circle of Friends for special needs teens and Kids First mentoring program.
In 2011, the four teen centers had 14,599 teen visits and worked with 889 youth throughout 10 school districts. Programming focuses on building assets and skills teens can use as they become adults.
As a grass root organization, Family Pathways is not only dependent upon the service of volunteers but is also dependent on the generosity of community members who contribute their time, donate food and items for both the food shelves and thrift stores and for the financial support of Family Pathways programs.
With the public’s loyal partnership, Family Pathways works to meet its mission of working with people to meet their basic needs, strengthen their families, develop caring relationships and help support communities.
