Lucy was born Aug. 20, 1927 in Baker, N.D. to Vigilius and Mathilda Westlund. She attended school in Minneapolis. Lucy married Ellsworth F. Lindell April 14, 1949 in Savannah, Ga. Ellsworth passed away in October of 1980.
Family was very important to Lucy. She liked family gatherings with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She taught Sunday school and was a Brownie Leader when her kids were young. She was also the family record keeper, if you wanted to know who, when or where a marriage, birth or death occurred, she was the one to ask and she was always the one to call you with well wishes on your special day. She also loved to crochet and was very close to her sister Nita, they could be found traveling together or just having a chat over coffee often.
She worked as a factory worker and as a Nurses Aide. After retiring she babysat a number of her great-grandchildren frequently along with helping with the neighborhood children.
