Christian conference to address what is happening in America today

This special one day conference will take place Saturday, June 2, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. hosted by Stanchfield Baptist Church.

Are you troubled over changes taking place in our country? Many people are aware of major changes taking place socially, politically, eonomically and religiously.

The purpose of this conference is to help Christians understand better what is taking place in America, give a Biblical perspective, and provide wisdom and guidance in forming a Christian response.

Speakers include Rev. John Hoeldtke of Flame Ministries, Dr. Ardel Caneday Professor at Northwestern College in St. Paul, and Dr. Ivan Fiske Pastor of Quamba Baptist Church.

Large group sessions will be presented, as well as small group seminars on subjects such as “What Is ‘Multiculturalism and Diversity’?” “The Challenge of Ecotheology” “Dollars and Sense” “Understanding Society’s Rules of Engagement” and “Biblical Perspectives on Human Government.”

On Sunday evening, June 3, at 6 p.m. Rev. Hoeldtke will present a session “The Falseness of Socialism” A Biblical, Christian View also at Stanchfield Baptist. The presentation is free and open to the public.

The church is located north of Cambridge 1/2 mile east of the intersection of Hwy. 65 and Co. Rd. 3. The facility is handicap accessible.
