Also honored at the “Night of the Stars” were seniors who received at least 100 drama points in four years, which is an incredible achievement. This year’s senior class has four “Star Award Winners,” an all-time high, which says a lot about the class of 2012. They are Hannah Palmer, Jonathan Wells, Elizabeth Nault-Maurer and Andrew Pflipsen, who actually earned over 200 points in four years as the lighting technician for CIHS. The students each received a crystal trophy, and their names will go on the Drama Hallway’s “Star Wall” in the PAC.

Receiving CIHS “Outstanding Speech Student of the Year” was Adam Peterson. Adam, a junior, was a finalist at the State tournament, placing 8th in Creative Expression. He made finals at every tournament he attended this season, placing 1st in all but three. He received a team-record 18 perfect scores during the season, and he also earned the highest lettering points on record.
