The Isanti County Fair, which runs Wednesday, July 18 through Sunday, July 22, is continuing to provide the best in Grandstand entertainment for fairgoers.
Starting on Wednesday evening, the Isanti County Fair Moto-Cross will be providing plenty of thrills in the grandstand promising a fantastic show. Moto-City Raceway will be taking the reins of this event for the first time and this show is guaranteed to provide plenty of action and thrills with many local riders competing. Moto-City Raceway in Browerville is well-known in the Moto-Cross Racing sport. They will be offering classes for 50cc cycles to the 250cc and larger pro classes along with several classes for quads with trophies to the top riders. Warm-ups start at 6 p.m. with the Races starting at 7 p.m.
On Thursday at 7 p.m., the Isanti County Fair will be presenting the first “Night of Destruction” and utilizing the entire grandstand racetrack with a line up of several exciting events, and promises to be something completely different. Starting out with a ‘Spectator Drag Race’ which will be a ‘one on one’ race around the track using your personal vehicle.
This race is open to any driver over the age of 16 with a Street legal car, truck, or van with individual classes for 4 cyl, 6 cyl, and 8 cyl vehicles. The winner of each race will advance onward for $100 and trophy for the top driver in each class. After that, drivers take to the track for an Enduro Race to see who’s car can make the most laps around the track and still move. Throughout the evening, stuntman ‘Wildman Clay Gallagher’ will perform death defying stunts including car jumps, rollovers, crashing through a structure set on fire, and a spectacular crash through a RV vehicle.
The last event of the night—but not least—will be the world famous Trailer Races. You’ve seen it on ESPN and at Raceway Park—now see it at the Isanti County Fair. Cars, vans, and pickup trucks will race around the race track with boats and campers trailered behind them. Last one that still has their trailer attached at the end wins. You will not want to miss this new and unusual race of Destruction.
Friday night brings the return of the Annual Isanti County Fair Tractor Pull starting at 6:30 p.m. See the best drivers and the biggest tractors from all around Minnesota and western Wisconsin come with their best to compete on what is known as one of the best tracks around. With local favorites and pullers from throughout the area, this event has always been the pull to win.
On Saturday at 7 p.m., there will be the Isanti County Fair Demo-Derby featuring two “Best Looking Car” competitions—one for cars and one for trucks; with heats, consolations, and features for Full Size Cars, Compact Cars, Compact Trucks, and Mini-Vans, along with Full-Size Trucks along with Suburbans for the finale.
Sunday is Family Day at the Fair with half-price price admission until 10 a.m., a free Corn Feed starting at 11 a.m., and you will not want to miss the ‘Burn-Out Pit’ in the Grandstand Pit Area during the Annual Isanti County Fair Classic Car and Truck Show.

Advance Sale Gate and Grandstand ticket packages are available for four adults at a reduced cost of $35. (retail value $48). These are available until July 11 and can be used as a ‘weekly’ gate and grandstand pass to see all four grandstand events or for four adults to all attend one event on one evening.
