Family, friend and neighbor (FFN) child caregivers are not licensed. They are those caring for children who may or may not be related to the caregiver. They care for children while the parents are at work or school. The caregiver may or may not be paid by the parent or through the county.
These caregivers are very important in the lives of those children. They give them love, keep them safe and help them learn. They do the important job of taking care of children while the parents work or going to school. They are grandparents, aunts, uncles, other relatives, friends or neighbors.
Free First Aid/CPR Training for family, friends and neighbor (FFN) child caregivers will be held June 25 and 26, from 6 to 9 p.m. in Cambridge.
Free SIDS/Shaken Baby Syndrome Training will be held June 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. in North Branch.
