Paul Gammel of Fish Lake Township in Chisago County is a candidate for State House of Representatives in the revised District 32A.
Gammel is a Corrections Officer at the State Correctional facility in Rush City and has lived in this area for eight years with his wife Lanae and their twin boys who are starting kindergarten at Cambridge Elementary School this fall.
Gammel is running this year because he has had enough with the state legislatures inability to work together and get the job done for Minnesotans.
Gammel wants us to be working toward solutions at the capital that make Minnesota a better place to live for everyone.
Gammel was frustrated by the State Government’s 21-day shutdown last summer and the budget that was balanced on the backs of our state workers, our children’s education funds and the removal of the Homestead Market Value Tax Credit. He believes this was unacceptable and just not Minnesotan and he would fight hard against legislation like it if elected this fall.
Gammel is an Eagle Scout and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He is excited about campaigning, meeting members of his community and learning what issues matter to you most as he goes out door knocking this summer.
As a legislator at the State Capital the people of District 32A will be Gammel’s number one priority and his ear, door, and mailbox will always be open to hear your concerns.
