The Cambridge Lions Club, along with the Minnesota Lawn Mower Racing Association, is having a fundraiser to benefit area food shelves and other community needs.
This event will be held Saturday, May 19, at the Isanti County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $6 for adults & $4 for kids 4-14. Kids under 3 are free. A 50 cent discount per ticket with each non-perishable food item. Gates open at 11:30 a.m., hot laps at noon and racing starting at 1 p.m.
The Cambridge Lions have served the community for over 50 years. They have contributed hearing systems in the elementary school, scholarships and eye glasses. They have also supported 4-H groups, Boy Scouts, the Cambridge Ambassador program, Cambridge Fire Department and the Isanti County Christmas Project, along with various community needs. Cambridge Lions members are proud to belong to the largest service organization in the world.
