Neighborhood Health Connection kick-off May 12

Neighbors who do things together are healthier and happier. That’s what the Neighborhood Health Connection program is all about—giving people the tools to create groups of neighbors focused on health and then offering those groups fun and creative ways to make themselves and their communities healthier.

“By offering unique tools, support and even money to fund their healthy neighborhood activities, we can make a difference in the health of our communities,” said Nicki Klanderud, CMC Community Engagement Manager.

Join the Cambridge Medical Center at a special kick-off celebration on Saturday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cambridge Farmers Market (City Center Market Parking Lot) – 122 Buchanan St. N., Cambridge There will be program information, local healthy activity demonstrations, seed planting, birdhouse building, fitness fun, healthy snacks, give-a-ways and more.
