Summer fun offered at reasonable prices

C-I COMMUNITY ED: Register now for one of the many reasonably priced summer classes, camps and leagues offered to children age 3 through grade 12 through the Cambridge-Isanti Community Education Summer Youth Program. You can deduct $5 on many Summer Youth Program Sports Leagues, most Swimming Lessons and Developmental Gymnastics activities if you register by 3 p.m. on May 24.

Almost all of the District 911 townships and cities have chosen to contribute towards activity costs for children who reside in their cities and townships, which lowers the cost to you even more.

The Summer Youth Program is designed to provide children with a chance to learn new skills in relaxed, non-competitive environment. The summer sports leagues are all non-traveling, intramural leagues with consistent practice times and game play dates and times. The fees are very reasonable and there are no extra uniform costs. (Little T’s, Mini Majors, T-Ball, Combo Pitch Ball, Boys Intramural Ball, and Flag Football League.) Most leagues begin the week of June18 and run through the second week in August. All ball league registrations must be received by 4 p.m. on Friday, June 6.

A wide variety of exciting summer camps are offered throughout the summer including Camp Kindersprouts, 3D Art, Alien Art Blast, Lego Engineering, and Cheerleading Camp. Most camps are offered Mondays through Thursdays in June, July and August. The instructors are top-notch and committed to sharing their knowledge and expertise with your child.

As part of the Summer Youth Program, Community Education now partners with District #911 coaches to offer excellent sports camps and clinics for youth in grades K-12 including fitness conditioning, track, volleyball, tennis, and  basketball camps and leagues for both girls and boys. High school athletes work as assistants for many of these camps and clinics which provides younger students with a unique opportunity to meet and be mentored by local rising sports stars.

Many other classes and activities will be offered including gymnastics, swimming, golf and more. Space in most activities in limited so sign up today.
